Post Test and Advanced Motorcycle Training
Many people appreciate that once they have passed their driving test they are only then starting to learn how to ride or drive. MOTAG has available a full range of further training courses to meet the needs of all riders. These courses are designed to greatly improve your safety on the road by concentrating on such topics as positioning for safety and view, observation, and correct use of speed. They enable you to become familiar with motorway disciplines, and pillion passengers, which have previously been prohibited areas.
Every student taking one of our intensive courses will automatically be given a short briefing and demonstration ride on passing their test, but why not book for one of the following and improve your road awareness.
2 HOUR POST TEST MOTORCYCLE COURSE
A short introduction to the new areas open to the freshly qualified rider. We would like everyone to explore the freedom of the road with a greater degree of safety. This course emphasises the real life relevance of the motorcycle test.
1 DAY MOTORCYCLE RIDER IMPROVEMENT COURSE
For the rider who is moving up to a larger machine this course includes off and on road work. Off road the rider quickly becomes familiar with the increased weight and response of the larger bike. On road you are given a refresher of our unique 'system of motorcycle control' and rapidly progress in confidence as you are shown how to make the most of your new bike. This course is also ideal for the motorcyclist who has a full licence, but is returning to motorcycling after a break of several years. My how traffic conditions have changed!
ADVANCED MOTORCYCLE RIDER IMPROVEMENT COURSE
Learn the Advanced System of Roadcraft as it should be applied on today's roads. Courses are available on a 1:1 basis, but can also cater for up to a maximum of four riders. The tuition combines advanced theory with demonstration and practice of the techniques expected and concludes with an assessed ride and debriefing. Whether you ride as an individual or with a group of friends, you owe it to yourself and other road users to preserve life on the road. Courses run over two days and are individually arranged to meet your expectations and ability. This is a certified course and candidates receive a report on their performance.
ADVANCED ADVENTURE
A wonderful motorcycle training experience. A MOTAG Advanced Course built into a weekend away. In addition to professional tuition and a chance to see an awful lot of countryside, you get to relax in the evening and cover all the other motorcycling matters we live for. The only extra costs are meals and accommodation for your instructor.
